I've been trying to source CD's of Nabil Khemir in the UK but so far have been unsuccessful (tried internet and shops). He received an award for services to music (jazz) from the president in 2007 and his music is greatly influenced by Al Jarreau and George Benson who are 2 of my all time favourites. Have seen a few clips on You Tube. Has anyone heard his music and if so what did you think?

Hi Essem,

Hope that you are in good health ! Nabil Khemir has sealed a deal with an American company, so his is well known, not surprising really as his first performance was at the age of 7 ,he actually created a double necked instrument which was a guitar and lute in the Netherlands and called it the Rayjam.
You can go online and buy his album Parfum d'orient et d'occident at a price of $15.00, or you could go to a H.M.V shop and im sure that they can order it in for you, good luck.............................

I wonder if there is some online sites where you could listen to some of the clips of the songs? That is awesome to see someone start out at such a young age and be so successful.

That is a good information, I was wondering what sites are genuine to download the music. I know few of the sites but never got to check out for the arabic music. I would search it out to find some good music. It basically depends on what mood I am in to listen to music, at times it is fast tracks and at times I prefer slow soft music.

Thanks, I will run a search on it. I would love to be able to listen to some for free. I just am one of those people that likes to hear some artists before I buy. Thanks again.
