Default Tunisia invite Iraq for friendly

FIFA World Cup™ finalists Tunisia have invited Iraq to be their opponents in a final warm-up friendly in Germany on 7 June, replacing Kuwait who have pulled out, a federation spokesman said.

Kuwait said they could not raise a team for the game, scheduled for Tunisia's German base at Schweinfurt. Tunisia Football Federation officials have chosen a venue at Colombiers, near Neuchatel in Switzerland, for a nine-day training camp from 18 May.

They said they would play a match against third division Serrieres while in Switzerland. Tunisia will play in Group H against Saudi Arabia, Spain and Ukraine at the Germany 2006 finals, which start on 9 June.

i think it's a good choice for the preparations , because in our group we have Saudi Arabia, and they have the same playing style like Iraq ... so it's good for the preparations, but also it's good for the irakian team ... to have the chance to play and to try to forget about their problems ...

Cheers
Makrem
