Default Welcome to the New Property forum

Hi Everyone,

Given the interest in and around property and the developments ongoing in Tunisia I have created a specific section so that we can collect experiences and news in one place.

I welcome those who have bought, looking or just generally interested folk to contribute to the forum on the subjects of renting, buying and just discussing the market generally.

Regards,

Kris

For those of you who would like to invest in a holiday home in Sousse, you can visit my website www.tekaya-properties.com It is my first development in Tunisia and hoping it will go well so I can continue with the next one. I would very much welcome any interest in going in partnership to start a development business in Tunisia. The country is changing by the day and the opportunities out there are endless. Look forward to some comments.
Riadh

I would recommend the Tunisian House website....lots of help and inspiration.
Hopefully will be able to come back to Tunisia after the summer and would dearly love to find a piece of land to build on.
The Tunisian House has been a great help in our investigation and planning stages, and will not have any hesitation in using them to buy through and highly recommend.

Adel and Melanie are nice folks I have met Adel at Meditour and thus can say they genuinely care about their customers and have a thorough knowledge of their market.

Hello,

What will a 2 bedroom apartment cost on an average outside the tourist area in tunis. In a decent neighbourhood. I'll appreciate an average rent/mo as well as purchase price.

Thanks.

so depends on local conditions even here in bizerte your looking at 250 to 450 for a flat which would sell for 60 to 120 dinars

quality is usually low so new places charge a premium

is generally possible top buy as 100 percent owner an privat property for citizen of EU? (Slovakia) I have heard that only 70 per cent and rest has to be Tunisian owner.

Hi Janan

I am from the UK and I bought my property as 100% owner. Think that the law used to be that you had to have a Tunisian partner for buying property but not now.
