Default Tunis Property Thread

Thread for the discussion and questions on the property market in Tunis and its suburbs which are some of the most exclusive areas in Tunisia as a whole.

I am in Tunis much of the time so if you have any questions on renting buying, prices and market info please feel free to post.

Hi Janan,

I do not know Tabarka prices very well.

It is not one of the largest touristic places in Tunisia though as it is a costal place be prepared for some expensive prices for the apartments near the beach with a view.

I would price this in the same category as bizerte for prices or cheaper.

cheap 200-250 for 2 bed
Medium 250-350 for 2 bed

Anything over 350 per month unfurnished in dinars should either be lovely and or in a good position give or take 150 dinars for a view near beach etc

Sorry to be a little vague but in Tunisian towns the quality and prices can fluctuate greatly if you can find the place you like and then ask in a coffee shop or small shop as those guys know the prices and more often than not have a list of places to rent.

Regards,

Kris

Thak Kris,
I was more thinking about buying property even I am not sure if EU resident can buy property in Tunisia. I will search for property in cheaper area of tabarka and sorrounding.... I hope I will have luck :-) This is very serious decision therefore I expect it takes me years to get what I want.

You certainly can buy a property in Tunisia as a citizen though outside tourist zones the proceedure can take a bit of time and can be a bit annoying.

The property will have to be inside town boundries.
