Dancer,

You can actually make it yourself from easy to obtain spices! Believe it or not, I even found a recipe in my "Joy of Cooking" Book.
I can get you the recipe if you are still in need of it.
Its so simple you can mix some up in less than ten. Its just a matter of having the right spices and measuring properly-- no cooking required!

there's a North African restaurant that me and my hubby where meant to go to the last time we were in Brighton, but didn't get chance to - its called The Blue Man or Mascara they might know of local stores. Good luck

Theres a local store in my area in kent that sells harissa (cap bon) I think they are turks so im sure there wont be a problem finding one in london

we get the same in an asian halal store in glasgow Tounsia. Pretty reasonably priced too

Can you get hold of the that pastry stuff used for making briks? If not do you know anywhere that I can get it from?
(Im glad you can get Harrissa, my fiance is panicking that he will not be able to eat Tunisian food here, he of little faith!)

Oh i had some friends visit a whille bk & they brought some with them, he got it from a shop that sells all the international foods & stuff it was actuall the stuff that is used to make the spring rolls at the chinky, it does the job perfect.
