Nice to know what kind of weddings other people have had,i wasn't sure what to expect or wether mine was 'normal' for a tunisian wedding as i was 6 months pregnant at the time

I got very strange looks when I got home paying for shopping in my local tescos blonde hair blue eyes and hands covered in Henna!!!! How did that go down you being pregnant? One of my ex's aunts was rambling off something at the house the day before my ex was just laughing later on he told me she said how is she wearing shorts and you're getting married tomorrow????
I suppose the older generation are more traditional with their beliefs, not a bad thing, it was about 42 degrees lucky she didnt see me in me undies

However you can also do this in your home country, for example UK, and you will need to remain in the UK for the 21 days and do the same procedure. The certificate is valid for 3 months so ideally get the certificate of no impediment done at least 3-4 weeks before the marriage is due to take place and bring the certificate to Tunisia with you to show to the Embassy that it has been done.

A lot of these do***ents required to get married are time sensitive do***ents and especially the full birth certificate. The British Embassy website has all the details as well as plenty of info on here.

Good luck
hi can you tell me if my partner needs to get a cert of impediment in tunisia for his self or the one in england covers both of us thanks

Oh soooo remember that feeling...... Birth cert needs to be a new one cert of no imped needs to be used within 3 months of issue, I wore white, his family had it made!! Had straps (thickish) like a halterneck shoulders on view. Lost so much weight worrying had to have it made smaller when I got there!!! Those were the days size 10, not no more...
