Here is another one for you, in the UK when people get married sometimes folk break into the room ad make it a mess or more thoughtfully put flowers in the bed.
My brother in law was recently married and as we have Sara she was commandeered for another Bizertin tradition. Apparently a new baby is used to roll in sweets on the bed for good luck and this was a job sara was up to.
