Talking Indefinite Leave To Remain - We Got It!!!

Hi everyone

Just a note to say we got our Indefinite Leave to Remain today hip hip horay - what a relief gonna be celebrating all weekend No more admin for a while!!!

Thanks feefad!!! If you need any advice, let me know the main piece of do***entation they want to see is the ESOL/Life in the UK certificate. We applied on 31st March and got the passport back today! In between they did write to us asking how Mo was assessed before he enrolled on his ESOL course, so had to get back in touch with the college and get another letter from them. Incidentally, he's only passed ESOL 1 so far, they weren't looking for ESOL 3 which we initially thought...

Hubby is a bit stunned at the moment, the shock and excitement I think

Oh yeah, we had to get him an extension on his visa cause he didn't come straight away when we got our marriage visa and had to pay £395!!! Found out afterwards that they allow them 28 days from the time they get their marriage visa to leave Tunisia. So we had to apply for an extension then his ILR within about 2/3 months of each other!!! Skint now, but really happy

What money dya have to pay we didnt pay anything when he got his ILR also didnt have to take ESOL test either?? Things change I spose. Congratulations x
