Default Having a baby in Tunisia

Just thought i would say to all that Hajer is pregnant and I will keep this thread up to date with the ins and outs (after conception) of having a baby in Tunisia!

Firstly getting a scan its done usually by a private doctor and costs about £10-£20 you go and wait and there you go we waited less than 40minutes and the equipment was new and clean.

So far so good :-)

CONGRATULATIONS!

Keep us posted, I'm really interested in this as I have told my husband I'm not having another baby until we are living in Tunisia. I found the British hospitals treat you more like cattle, get you out as soon as possible.

Is this your first?

Yes this is the first

At first impresions if you pay you get good service and nice facilities it is cheap by English standards but I gues if your Tunisian it isn't so much.

Hajers Doctor who does the scans is young nice and always has a good chat I guess when your a business you have to be cordial with your customers rather than just shipping them through.

Congratulations... I came back to Uk to have our little girl and when i took her back there to meet all her family people came from everywhere smothering her with kisses, especially as she's got big dark eyes and blonde hair... wish your wife a good pregnancy without too much morning sickness, unfortunately I had it so bad i lived on fruit and ice cream for the first 4 months... Good luck xxxx
