Red face Talking Area about The interview in the embassy

HI all.

I appreciate this boards and all what we r talking about and i am sure a lot of people find some help here.

But idid Think that why no Thread talk about the interview that the most of applicant will submit?

So i did create this Thread if there anybody have some idea or want to give help (-or anybody did submitted an interview in the embassy-)for who will have an interview in the embassy (sorry about my mad english) and like everybody here know that the interview is important like any important document in the application.

There is many question that anybody before having the interview will ask him self :

1- What kind of question they will ask me ?
2- about what things they will ask about the most ?
3- what i should be like in the interview ?
4- what documents i can bring with me in the interview that can help ?
5- Do they will ask about personel things between me and my wife ?
6- What the most important things i have o know about my wife and they will ask about ?

Thanks for allllllllllllllllllllllllllll

Hi Nizar,

Recently, many husbands (including mine!) have been granted visas without an interview. If you prepare your application well enough (i.e. have the evidence that they'll be looking for) then they don't always interview. Previously, I am aware that the Embassy have asked questions to 'test' the Tunisian man on his knowledge of his wife and her family (birthdays, jobs, names etc.) and questioned him about why he wants to live in the UK and what he intends to do there etc. The new application forms (on the Embassy website) ask for more detail than the previous ones so there would seem to be less information left to warrant an interview unless they are not satisfied by the content of the application.

I'm astounded that you are doing all this work!!! - Most of us wives are used to finding out the information, filling in the forms and then telling our husbands what they need to say and do!!! You are a rare species of Tunisian man I think ha ha!!!

Default Hi

Hi unfortunately the Embassy make their own rules depending on how they feel!!! from friends who have applied some havent been interviewed some have and it goes on, my close friend who is now living in the UK with her husband was asked personal questions even down to the books she likes to read!! why he was being interviewed she was outside reading unfortunately you will never know, but they can surprise you and may question family info etc.

They asked my wife my wages etc and even told her off that she didn' know what I got paid!!

Saying that if made no difference she left thinking that she did bad and she got her visa right away.

i know that when we applied they asked my other half about my family and what they did for a living, as asked how much my brother got paid in his job, he just replied its got nothing do with me, so i think they put some trick questions in there, like kelly said i think they just ask what they feel like, i know when asking about supporting documents like bank statements wage slips etc, they told him to bring them back the next day but never rung him and they still granted the visa without seeing anything

Default tunisian mariage and marriage visa application

I am seriously considering marriage with a Tunisian man. I have both Frenh and British nationalities. I have few questions: first of all is it true that I must reside in Tunisia for 21 clear days before the tunisian wedding? Or can i get the statement in England for the application to the certificate of no-impediment?
as well being on Tax Credit in England, is that a hindrance to obtain the VAF2?
thirdly, do I have to come to the interview concerning the marriage visa ?

thanks in advance for your answers!

Default Hi

Hi,

Welcome to the forum

I would advise looking at the thread 'getting tunisians to the UK' long but worth it.

You can reside in England for the 21 days then bring your certificate with you to the Embassy here in Tunisia.
