Buying gold in Tunisia

Does anyone here know anything about buying gold in Tunisia (for marriage)?
For example, what karat is standard? Do they have diamonds?

Hi, I have not bought diamonds in Tunisia but gold comes in many varieties. My engagement ring is 18K which I feel is standard and if you buy gold in shops it should be stamped. Stamps might look as follows:

scorpion: 9 carat, goat: 14 carat, horse's head: 18 carat

Do you know if they sell diamonds (in rings) at all in Tunisia? I've understood that they use a lot of cubic zirconia in jewellery, that's why I'm asking.

I am not sure about the diamonds anna but you can get gold in fact more Karat from 22 or 21 but 24 karat is just perfect gold according to them.
