Default I Need help & advice, how Tunisian can come for study to UK

Asalam everybody, my girlfriend is from tunisia , i've visited her and her family 2 times already last year, we had wonderfull time with her and with her family. It is so sad to be in diffirent part of the world now. and it was so hard 4 me to see her tears when i was coming back. All i want is to be with her but im not UK sitizen, im just a student here in UK.

She was planning to come to UK for studing before knowing me. So her parent asked me to let them pay all my living expenses from renting a car, renting a room and all other expenses while im in Tunisia. and asked me to pay for their daughter's study and accomodation in UK in respond for that. (sorry for my english). i liked that idea and we did that way.

So now i paid for her study and accommodation and send that do***ent to her but the problem is that she will be asked how she paid for course and accommodation. Can she say that her parent sponsoring her? Im afraid that Entry Clearance Officer will ask for the prove. i dont want her to tell that im her boyfriend couse it may make problem in getting student visa and couse that will give them a notion that she is planning to stay in UK. im afraid that it may couse of refusal.

So can she say that her parents sponsoring her? That im just a friend and what problems she may have? is there any other solution or advice? pls help, thanks

Hi Abdullah,

Hope that you are in good health !
So you are in the Uk at present and your girlfriend is in the Uk as well....
Sorry are you Tunisian if you dont mind me asking its just that if you are not Tunisian then sorry but you have been had as Tunisia is extremly cheap and the Uk is extrmly expensive so im not surprised that they asked you to pay for your girlfriend.
As far as i can tell you also would like to study in the Uk so you have to have money for yourself as well as for your girlfriend .
To be quite honest i find it quite an unusual story as i can't see someone in Tunisia letting their daughter come to the Uk without being married and has she got a student visa.......sorry for all the questions it just that im trying to see a clear picture from your story................., so i hope that you dont mind all these questions........

Thanks for your respond Roulla.
Sorry Roulla, my english isn't good, that's why i couldn't explain everything as it is. 1st of all she is not in UK yet, then im going to marry her after she will get her visa and come to UK inshaAllah, couse as far as i know it is much easier here in UK (i mean marrige).

Problem is that tunisian citizen can't transfer money to any UK school or college through bank. and as far as i know Banks in tunisia asking a lot of papers to do that transfer, i was in several banks with my girlfriend and with the invoice from UK college and we couldnt transfer course fee. Entry clearance officer knows this things, so he or she may ask how she paid school and accommodation fee. she can say that her parents did with my help. then another question comes. how? by tunisian law i cant take tunisian currency out of country, even if i take it with me to UK i cant change it to another currency (im i right?). thats why she and her parents asked me to make an agreement like they are paying all my expenses in tunisia and in respond for that im paying for her study and accommodation. I want to know if it is ok if she will tell these things in UK embassy? how it sounds? can she tell that her parents sponsoring her?

Because of my english i dont think that i could explain everything clearly, sorry for that, and if there is any point is not clear for you pls dont hesitate to ask me. Thanks

Hi Abdullah,

Sha allah inti lebeis ?
Yes i understand what you are saying although i really cant see the difference in the fact that you want to marry here in Uk or Tunisia because i dont think that if you get married in the Uk that will give you some sort of pass, as laws are getting quite strict here in the Uk, as far as i'm aware.....
You obviously had an invite to come and study in the Uk so i can't see why you can't transfer money to the Uk, i mean i know that you are not supposed to take Tnd out of Tunisia but i always do but in small amounts maybe 400 or so, just so that i dont wait around on arrival to exchange my money, but there are always people who like to exchange TND to GBP its like saving if you have TND you know that you cant change it here in the UK so you just save it for when you go ..........
If you came to the Uk you must of had a supporting letter stating that you are able to provide for yourself or did the person that invited you include that in his invitation letter, he must of done............And your english is very good mashallah.........
